Meet Our Leaders
Assistant Pastor Dr. Beverly Crump
Dr. Crump is a native of Youngtown, Ohio and moved to Columbus in 1985. In 1994 Dr. Crump received license in the capacity of an ordained minister through the Shining Light Bible Mission Church in Columbus, Ohio. In 2007 Dr. Crump was ordained into Eldership and in 2009 as the Associate Pastor of Unity Christian Fellowship. In 2011 Dr. Crump was elevated to Assistant Pastor of Unity Christian Fellowship under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Chris Crump in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Crump has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio Christian University where she has a dual major in Religious Studies and Counseling, and a Master of Science Degree in Counselor Education and Allied Professions from the University of Dayton.

Dr. Crump has successfully completed and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University. Dr. Crump is a board member of the Ohio Counselor Association Government Relations Committee for the American Counselor Association and Alumni Board Member at Ohio Christian University and Walden University. Dr. Crump is retired from the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities after 31 years of service where she worked as a Program Specialist and Service Coordinator. Currently Dr. Crump is an independent contract mental health counselor educator, consultant, seminar presenter, and workshop trainer for mental health and social agencies in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding counties. Additionally, Dr. Crump is a guest teacher and seminar presenter at Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University where she teaches and presents workshops and seminars that focus on working with individuals, families, and groups with issues in Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, Family Relationships and Dynamics, and Team Building.
In 2016, Dr. Crump began the S.C.A.R.S. (Staying Connected and Reaching Success) ministry conference line that use biblical scriptures and educational resources to help individuals embrace and empower their spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical development and growth in God. Dr. Crump stands firm on 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”.
Associate Pastor Robert
(Rusty) Russell
Pastor Rusty is Senior Pastor of Second Chance Church and Associate Pastor of Unity Christian Fellowship both of Columbus Ohio.
Pastor Rusty is a native of Johnstown OH, and came to faith 09/02/92 at the age of 24. He is the son of Ralph Russell and the late Carol Russell and is the youngest of four siblings’.
Through the years Pastor Rusty has held numerous position within the church including bus worker/captain, head usher, cleaning crew lead, bus mechanic, baptistery worker, sound technician, and Sunday school teacher.
Prior to being ordained Pastor Rusty was involved in a downward spiral of sin, temptation and addiction, which led to a four and a half year, prison sentence. Knowing that he was not “arrested” but rather “rescued”, he used that time to reconnect and strengthen his relationship with the Lord. Pastor Rusty studied ministry and theology from 2014-2017 at the Technical Learning College of Chino, NV. Through the resurrecting power of our Lord Jesus Christ, Pastor Rusty was resurrected from a life of sin, to a reconciled servant of God.
He has become the House Manager of Fort Jackson, (a faith based ministry designed to assist and strengthen returning citizens entering society). He serves as the head of a breakfast ministry for the homeless at New Life Community Outreach, Pastors Second Chance Church an 18yrs and older Adult Parole Authority approved church for returning citizens. Pastor Rusty was ordained on 05/05/17, from his Pastor and mentor Pastor Steve Biffle of The Church of the Living Word.
Ruling Elder Cynthia Neal
Elder Cynthia Neal was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She was blessed to be raised in a saved home where her parents, (late) Pastor Joseph and Elizabeth Manigault, taught her the ways of the Lord through the Word of God, prayer, and service. Elder Neal was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of nine at the Mount Calvary Pentecostal Faith Church in Harlem, New York. In July 1990, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she became a member of Greater Cross Tabernacle, under the leadership of Bishop George Dawson. For 13 years, she served in that ministry. In January 2001, Elder Neal was ordained as an Elder at The Greater Cross Tabernacle. After hearing the voice of the Lord, in July 2009 she became a member of the Unity Christian Fellowship Church under the leadership of Bishop Chris Crump. The Lord has blessed her with the gifts and callings of Altar Work, Sunday School Teacher, Ministry of Helps, Praise and Worship, Choir Director, and Armor Bearing.

In April 2017, she received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Business Management from Ohio Christian University.
Elder Neal is blessed with one beautiful daughter Jennifer Joy.
Elder Neal’s prayer is to be in the perfect will of God and to be a voice in the Body of Christ to bring the lost to Christ and be an encouragement to His people.
